The laboratory of Metal catalysis and organic synthesis of the SRSPU (NPI) is part of the infrastructure of the base department of the SRSPU (NPI) at the Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry (Moscow). The head of the department is Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Dr. of Sci., Head of the Laboratory of Metal Complex and Nanosized Catalysts (No. 30) of the Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry, professor Valentin P. Ananikov.
The laboratory is located at the chemical (technological) faculty of the - Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI) in Novocherkassk. The head of the laboratory is Dr. of Sci., Director of the Center for Collective Use "Nanotechnologies of the SRSPU (NPI)", professor Victor M. Chernyshev.

Research directions of laboratory:
According to the research results, articles are regularly published in top-rated international scientific journals, such as: Organometallics, ACS Catalysis, Chemical Science, ChemSusChem, Catalysis Science & Technology, J. Org. Chem. etc.
Researches are carried out with the financial support of the scientific foundations of the Russian Science Foundation and the RFBR.
Research is carried out in close cooperation with the Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry RAS. Laboratory staff undergo regular training, perform spectral and microscopic studies at the Center for Collective Use of the IOC RAS. Postgraduates and masters undergo training several times a year in the laboratory of V.P. Ananikov at the Institute of Organic Chemistry RAS, Moscow.
